#147 memorybox

Dafni's teacher has told the kids she's gonna have a baby, she is not coming back after the summer, so I was already thinking about a goodbye present....and that pregnancy made it a little easier, lol.... a memorybox with a toothbox, a tiny little booklet to write memories in, a little box for the first lock of hair and some babysocks....
I had great fun making this, the box only cost me 1,50 euro and the toothbox is handmade from some chipboard and the hairlockbox is from maya road (used to be a ribbon slides box).
It was actually very cheap to make this but I think it looks nice....

#146 Pirate Princess....

Counting down...het aftellen is begonnen...

Only three weeks to go, then we can relax, swim, eat, go visit something beautiful...in Rhodos!!!
Ofcourse three weeks are gonna be way too short, I already get homesick by the idea of going back to holland again...and I haven't even left yet.
But, we're gonna have a wonderful time, probably visit some pensions and maybe, maybe we can actually get our hands on one and have the best holiday ever, never having to leave Rhodos again....well...to pack maybe....
But I can't wait to enjoy all of this again:





Van deze foto's krijg ik echt heimwee hoor, maar gelukkig nog maar drie weekjes, dan mogen we weer van al dat moois en lekkers genieten. Ik ben nu echt aan het aftellen...
Even geregeld dat we dezelfde kamer hebben als vorig jaar, zodat we vanaf de kamer draadloos kunnen internetten en niet naar de receptie hoeven daarvoor, parkeerplaats op schiphol gereserveerd en nog wat slippers enzo aangeschaft, we zijn er klaar voor.
Hopelijk komen we deze vakantie HET pension tegen en hoeven we nooit meer heimwee te hebben, het blijft nog even spannend allemaal.

Visiting an old friend....op bezoek bij Ome Foti....

Tonight we decided to call the restaurant of an old friend, to see if it was open....and it was....
We had a wonderful time, nice to see them again after...what...two years??? Way too long anyway.
Good to see his kids working there as well, a real feeling of coming home.....
Our kids loved "Ome Foti".....

Okay, I cheated a little, I did buy something today....some rub-ons, but this clear album really can't do without..
The clear album was a gift from my mum, she's sooo sweet, brings me unusual stuff every now and then, like this.... I kinda like how it turned out, but I've been afraid to start this project for a long time....
