#125 my make up box

This box was originally a gift package of Nivea for men....darkblue, boring little thing....hubby used the Nivea and gave this box to me....for scrappin'. I used a lot of strange stuff, a printed picture I found on the web at the beautiful Challenge Blog ("Art Creations Friday"), of course I'm too late to participate, but that wasn't my intention in the first place, I just loved this picture and I knew what I wanted to use it for, and now I did......

Dit doosje was oorspronkelijk zo'n kadoverpakking van Nivea for men, zo'n donkerblauw saai geval. Richard heeft de spullies gebruikt en was zo lief om het doosje aan mij te geven, om te scrappen... Ik heb hier veel gekke dingetjes gebruikt en een plaatje geprint wat ik ergens op het web heb gevonden, zo'n mooie Challenge Blog ("Art Creations Friday"). Natuurlijk ben ik veel te laat om mee te kunnen doen, maar ja, daar ging het ook niet echt om, ik vond het plaatje gewoon mooi en wist meteen wat ik er mee wilde maken en dat heb ik nu dan dus ook gedaan.....

Dave Gahan in hospital, six shows cancelled....

Sniff....that poor Dave was rushed to hospital right before they were going to play in Athens, may 12. The Istanbul concert was cancelled the next day and now they cancelled four more shows..... I really hope he's well and is getting better and strong enough to go touring again..... it's only five more shows until Pinkpop, so I hope they don't have to cancel that. His recovery is most important of course, we will have to wait and see and only read on depechemode.com because people are writing a whole lot of bs everywhere.

Snif, die arme Dave werd naar het ziekenhuis gebracht, vlak voor ze opmoesten in Athene, op 12 mei. Het concert in Istanbul werd de volgende dag ook geannuleerd en nu zijn er nog vier shows geannuleerd. Ik hoop echt dat hij gauw beter wordt en in elk geval sterk genoeg om weer verder te kunnen touren. Nog maar een paar shows en dan is Pinkpop al, ik hoop echt niet dat ze die moeten annuleren. Maar ja, het belangrijkste is natuurlijk dat hij beter wordt, we zullen het moeten afwachten en vooral depechemode.com blijven lezen, nergens anders, want er wordt weer heel wat rommel geschreven overal.

#124 LO Remember the 80's

And yet another challenge from the Channie girls.... I had to get my inspiration from an 80's ABC..... I did manage to actually get inspired!!! Had to find a picture of myself in the 80's, I chose one from the late 80's, love this picture, so many 80's stuff...that hair!!!! LOL....

En weer een uitdaging van de dames bij Channie, ik moest mijn inspiratie halen uit een jaren tachtig ABC....en het is me nog gelukt ook!! Moest wel even op zoek naar een foto van mezelf in de 80's.... deze uitgekozen, vind hem zelf super, zoveel herkenbare 80's dingen....dat haar!!! gniffel......

#123 Lo I love you (Channie Challenge)

And another challenge from the girls at Channie, I had to make my own lace cardstock....Sooooo I handcut all these little hearts and glued them together randomly, I love how this turned out!!! Now I'm off to go and treat my sore hands...lol!!!

En weer een uitdaging van de dames bij Channie, ik moest zelf lace cardstock maken. Dussss.....ik heb lekker al deze hartjes met de hand zitten uitknippen and zomaar vastgeplakt. Ik vind het hartstikke leuk geworden. Nu ga ik even mijn zere handjes verzorgen...auw...hihi

#121 Summer 2008 (Channie Challenge)

I was challenged at Channie&Co to make something out of our little corner of inspiration.... One of the members chose a LO for me to lift..... This is what I made....

Ik werd weer eens uitgedaagd op Channie&Co. Dit keer om iets te maken uit onze inspiratiehoek. Een van de leden had een LO uitgezocht voor me om te liften....en ik heb hem gisteren eindelijk gemaakt....

For the same friend, who is going to travel to China this summer. A travelbox to take with her, to keep things like receipts, sand, plants and to write down her memories.....

Voor dezelfde vriendin, die deze zomer naar China op vakantie gaat. Een travelbox, waar ze zand, bonnetjes, plantjes in kan doen en waar ze herinneringen in kan opschrijven....

#119 Cats.....

For a friend who just lost a cat....and lost two a couple of years ago.....like a "tribute" to those three cats.....
Used a lot of paint, glimmer mist and beeswax.....

Voor een vriendin die laatst een kat verloren is, en een aantal jaren terug ook al twee. Eigenlijk een soort "eerbetoon" aan haar drie katten dus.... Veel verf, glimmermist en bijenwas gebruikt.....

#115 Kaartje voor de juf

Samen met Dafni, zij zei hoe de kaart eruit moest komen te zien, we hebben deze kaart samen met het deurhangertje in een grote vlop gedaan en bij de juf in de bus gedaan.....
